Hi! My name is Wrenlee Blue, and my daddy created an app named after me: Blue Nest.
I want to tell you why he created it, and how something that started as a way to help our family through one of the hardest seasons of our lives became something he hopes can help families everywhere.

Where It All Started
In March 2026, my daddy noticed something was different about my mommy, Shannon.
Mommy is a nurse. Even though Daddy has always believed she is the most beautiful woman in the world, he noticed that something had changed. The sparkle in her eyes was fading.
At first, he thought Mommy was simply exhausted from working night shift. But deep down, he had a feeling that something was not right.
One day, Daddy asked Mommy to see a doctor because he felt like she needed blood work. He was right. The results showed that Mommy had severe iron-deficiency anemia.
When Life Changed
By early June, Mommy had started iron infusions, but she was already very sick. She slept most of the time, barely ate or drank, and had almost no energy.
And yet, somehow, she continued showing up for her patients every day. Because that is the kind of nurse Mommy is.
Life quickly became a whirlwind of doctor's appointments, lab work, scans, specialists, and unanswered questions.
The person who had always managed our family's appointments, bills, schedules, and everyday responsibilities could no longer keep up. Mommy had to hand those responsibilities over to Daddy.
And Daddy did what he knew best. He built a solution.
The Birth of Blue Nest
Daddy created Blue Nest to help our family stay organized during one of the hardest seasons of our lives. It became the place where he could:
- Manage appointments and important dates
- Keep important family information together
- Organize our schedules and responsibilities
- Remember deadlines and things that needed attention
- Make sure nothing fell through the cracks
While Daddy was caring for Mommy, taking care of me, and trying to keep our family moving forward, Blue Nest helped keep everything together.
Then Everything Changed Again
On June 19, 2026, Mommy was sitting in the waiting room of a local diagnostic center, preparing for a brain scan. She had planned to finish her appointment, go home, get ready, and go to work.
Instead, she received a phone call from someone in upper management informing her that her employment had been terminated. She was told that her termination letter had been left wedged in the front door of our home.
Mommy was shocked. When she finally read the letter, she was even more confused because she felt it did not clearly explain why she had been terminated.
We live in an at-will employment state, which generally means an employer can end employment for almost any reason that is not unlawful. But regardless of the legal terminology, losing her job while she was actively undergoing medical testing and treatment turned our family's world upside down.
Suddenly, Daddy was trying to support our family on one income while taking Mommy to countless medical appointments and caring for me. Thankfully, he had already created Blue Nest.
From Our Family to Yours
Blue Nest was not just an app anymore. It had become something our family genuinely depended on. It helped Daddy keep track of everything when life felt overwhelming.
And then he had another idea: what if Blue Nest could help other families, too?
Every family experiences difficult seasons. It may be caring for someone who is sick, caring for aging parents, raising children, managing busy schedules, keeping track of finances, running a household, or simply trying to keep everyone on the same page.
Life can become overwhelming very quickly. Sometimes families do not need another complicated thing to manage. They need one place that helps make life a little easier.
Why Blue Nest?
Blue Nest was born from love, necessity, and family. It started with one father trying to take care of the people he loved most.
It became a way to organize the chaos, keep important things together, and make sure our family stayed connected during a difficult time. Now, Daddy hopes it can do the same for other families.
Because no family should feel like they have to carry life's chaos alone.
Our Story Is Not Over
Today, Mommy is still searching for employment while continuing her medical treatment. We are still waiting for answers, going to appointments, and navigating the unexpected twists and turns that life brings.
And we are still relying on Blue Nest every single day.
What started as one father's way of taking care of his family has become something he hopes can help take care of yours, too.
