Is the Blue Nest family calendar free?
Yes. The shared calendar is part of the free Blue Nest plan, along with tasks, shopping, meals, and chores. Family+ adds Smart Budget, family location sharing, Ask Blue Nest, and 100 GB of storage.
Can I import an existing calendar?
Yes. You can connect a Google Calendar, subscribe to a private iCal feed from Google or Apple Calendar, or import a .ics or .csv file. You can also export your Blue Nest calendar as ICS or CSV at any time.
Can each family member have their own color?
Yes. Every household member gets a color, and events are labelled with the person they belong to. You can filter the calendar by category so you see only what is relevant.
Does it handle recurring events?
Yes. Events can repeat on a schedule, and repeating occurrences show up across the month, week, and agenda views without being entered again.
Does the calendar work on phones?
Yes. The same household calendar works in the browser, as an installable web app, and in the Blue Nest apps for Android and iOS.
