How much storage do I get?
The Free plan includes 2 GB of household storage for documents and photos. Family+ raises that to 100 GB for $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year.
What kinds of documents can I store?
Anything your household needs to find quickly — insurance cards, school forms, medical records, warranties, appliance manuals, and IDs. PDFs and images can be previewed in the app.
Will Blue Nest remind me before a document expires?
Yes. Give a document an expiry date and Blue Nest surfaces it ahead of time, so passports, insurance policies, and registrations are renewed before they lapse rather than after.
Can I search inside a scanned document?
Uploaded documents can have their text extracted so that search finds a record by what it contains, not only by the filename you happened to give it.
Who can open our documents?
Only members of your household. Every list, preview, download, and delete is checked against household membership on the server, and a head of household can restrict document access for child accounts.
